| Date of Ordination: | June 11 2005 |
| Current Assignment: | Prison Ministry, Bridgeton |
My journey as a Deacon started after having served in various ministries – Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Usher, Parish Council member, I made the inquiry and was accepted to start a 2 year program with the Camden Diocese.
After going through several formations, we were Ordained in June 2005. Wanting to know more about my ministry and the people I am serving, I obtained a Masters Degree in Theology and Ministry.
After I was Ordained, I was assigned to my home parish where I served as a Deacon for 10 years.
Presently I am assigned to South Woods State Prison as a full time Catholic Chaplain. This is the largest prison in the State of New Jersey with close to 4,000 inmates. Among other things, I am responsible for the Spirituality of the Catholic inmates. I coordinate with local Priests, Deacons, Sisters and lay people to help me fulfill the Spiritual needs of the inmates.
Serving the Lord is my passion. I thank Him for his grace and faithfulness. The journey has been very rewarding.
