Date of Ordination: October 4, 1980
Current Assignment: Retired

I have been married to my wife, Fran, for almost 56 years. We have six children. My spirituality grew as my wife and I participated in Marriage Encounter and Cursillo. A few years before our fifth child was born I started the formation in Blackwood, New Jersey, on September 5, 1976. Following my ordination in October 1980, I began my first assignment at Sacred Heart Church in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, where I remained until 1984. I then spent two years at the Neumann Center at Glassboro State College, working with the college students. I later used this experience as I took on an adult leadership role in the Lion of Judah Youth Prayer Community.

In March 1986, I was transferred to Annunciation in Bellmawr, New Jersey (now St. Joachim parish). Then, in April 1988 I returned to Sacred Heart, later Emmaus Catholic Community, until my retirement in March 2014. After the transition from Sacred Heart to Emmaus Catholic Community, I was appointed as Administrator for Emmaus Catholic Community for six months. During my time at Sacred Heart, I spent three years as Defender of the Bond for the Marriage Tribunal. Following my retirement, I was assigned to the Deaconate Admissions and Scrutinies Board.

At present time, although retired, I continue to assist at St. Joachim Parish in Bellmawr. Continuing to serve allows me to continue to grow in my own spirituality, while I minister to the people of God. My time in the deaconate, and the support of my fellow deacons, has been a constant source of strength and comfort for my family and me.
