|Date of Ordination:||March 15, 1997|
|Current Assignment:||Mary Mother of Mercy, Glassboro|
My journey began in 1978. I was a member of St. Clements parish in South West Philadelphia. After graduating from college I decided to join their choir. Within a few weeks I was asked to cantor and become a lector. After a few years I moved with my wife and children to Washington Twp., NJ. I joined Our Lady of Lourdes parish in 1985 and immediately was asked to start and lead a choir. By the time I heard the call to the Diaconate, I was already active as Lector, Extra Ordinary Minister of Eucharist, Pre Cana, Youth Group leader, member of Capital Fund Raising committee for the building of new church, member of Small Faith Communities, member of Christian Family Movement, Charismatic group leader and a 4th Degree member of Knight of Columbus. Thinking back to 1978 when I decided to join the choir in Philadelphia, I can say without any doubt that God began to groom me for the Diaconate. Each ministry was a stepping stone leading to my answering the call to the Diaconate and the execution of my ministries as a deacon. After 20 years my journey continues and is always growing for the Glory of God.
