|Date of Ordination:||May 21, 2011|
|Current Assignment:||St. Bridget University Parish, Glassboro|
My journey to the diaconate began during my teenage years. I was greatly influenced to serve the Church by two tremendous deacons at the parish where I was raised, the Church of the Holy Family in Washington Township. One of these deacons eventually became my father-in-law, which gave me an opportunity to witness his diaconate ministry both inside and outside the doors of the church. These two men were true examples of love, dedication and service to God. They helped me to realize that He was calling me to a religious vocation as well.
At the time, I viewed the diaconate as a ministry for a man later in his life. However, the call to serve became stronger as I reached my 30s. I began formation at the age of 36 and was ordained at the age of 42.
My diaconate ministry has been a deeply rich and rewarding experience, both physically and spiritually. I pray that the Lord may grant me many more years of service to His Church and His people.
