Date of Ordination: June 12, 2005
Current Assignment: Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Glassboro

I had been always been very involved in my home parish as a Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and a member of Parish Council. I always had an interest in the Diaconate but did not know much about it. Our parish had no deacons and I did not know any men who were members of the Diaconate community to speak with about their experience. My pastor approached me and said that he felt I would be a good candidate for the program.

After much discussion with him, my wife, and a lot of prayer and discernment, I decided to apply to the program. After starting my studies, I fully realized that this is what Almighty God was calling me to do for a very long time.

We often think that we are not worthy to the call but if we place our complete trust in Almighty God He will lead us to the right path that we are to travel in life. Serving the people of the Diocese of Camden has been the right call. It is not always easy work but it is always worthwhile and has been a spiritually rewarding experience. I thank God every day for calling me to the Diaconate.
